Cancellation and Refund Policy

Payment Policy

Payment may be required before scheduling, collection, mobile travel, shipping, laboratory processing, or administrative work begins. Lab Savvy LLC reserves the right to require advance payment for any service.

Mobile fees, shipping fees, laboratory fees, administrative fees, and completed services may be nonrefundable. Once a specimen has been collected, shipped, submitted, or processed, refunds may not be available.

Nonrefundable Services

The following are generally nonrefundable once initiated:

• Specimen collection (once collection has occurred)
• Shipping and courier fees
• Laboratory processing fees
• Mobile travel fees
• Administrative and scheduling fees
• Any service where work has begun

Appointment Cancellations

Appointments are not confirmed until Lab Savvy LLC provides written or verbal confirmation. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as early as possible.

Same-day cancellations, missed appointments, and failure to provide required documents or identification may result in forfeiture of fees paid or additional rescheduling charges.

Late Arrivals

Late arrivals may require rescheduling at the discretion of Lab Savvy LLC. Fees paid for a missed or late appointment may not be refunded.

NIPP Payment Plan Request, Approval, and Payment Policy

The standard Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity Testing price is $1,450 for the pregnant mother and one alleged father, unless additional participants, mobile service, travel, extended hours, shipping, recollection, or other special requirements apply.

• NIPP payment plans are available only to eligible clients who submit the required Lab Savvy NIPP Payment Plan Request Form and receive written approval.
• Payment plans are not automatically available to every client.
• Submitting a payment-plan request does not guarantee approval, reserve an appointment, establish eligibility, or begin the testing process.
• Clients must not submit only $725 through a general payment link and assume that a payment plan or appointment has been approved.
• Lab Savvy must review the completed request form, pregnancy eligibility, required documentation, service requirements, appointment availability, and any other relevant case information before approving a payment plan.
• Lab Savvy reserves the right to approve or deny a payment-plan request.
• If the payment plan is approved, Lab Savvy will provide the client with written approval, payment terms, and an authorized Square invoice or payment link.
• Only payments made through the authorized invoice or payment link provided after approval will be applied to the approved NIPP payment plan.
• A nonrefundable initial payment of $725 is required after written approval to begin case intake, document review, appointment coordination, and collection preparation.
• Payment of the initial $725 does not by itself confirm an appointment. Lab Savvy must provide separate written appointment confirmation.
• After written approval, the initial $725 payment starts the NIPP service process and secures the selected appointment. Lab Savvy may begin intake, document review, appointment coordination, and collection preparation.
• The remaining balance and all applicable additional fees must be successfully paid before the scheduled appointment start time.
• No specimen collection, shipment, or laboratory submission will begin until the account is paid in full.
• If the complete balance is not received by the scheduled appointment start time, the appointment will be canceled and the initial $725 payment will not be refunded.
• A canceled appointment is not automatically rescheduled. A new appointment requires Lab Savvy's approval, current availability, payment of the outstanding balance, and any applicable rescheduling, travel, mobile, preparation, or administrative fees.
• The pregnancy must be at least 10 weeks gestation on the date of maternal blood collection under Lab Savvy's current partner-laboratory requirements.
• The initial payment does not guarantee testing eligibility, laboratory acceptance, a specific appointment date, a particular relationship finding, or completion by a guaranteed date.
• Payments and fees applied to case intake, document review, coordination, supplies, kit preparation, shipping, laboratory charges, partner-processing fees, or other initiated work are nonrefundable according to the applicable service and refund policies.

Refund Requests

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to clientservices@labsavvy.net. Each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Lab Savvy LLC is not obligated to issue a refund for services rendered, specimens collected, or fees incurred.

Questions
